San Francisco (PRWeb) January 29, 2007 -- Not everyone wants to watch or create the kind of videos that are regular hits on YouTube. This is especially true at TasteTV, where producers, viewers, partners and sponsors are more interested in the quality of consumer and prosumer-created food, wine, restaurant, fashion and lifestyle programming. With this critical difference in mind, TasteTV has announced the launch of the first ever Food & Lifestyle Video Workshop series for aspiring producers and hosts.
If you love food, wine, design and lifestyle programs and want to shoot your own quality videos for online & on demand broadcasts, the TasteTV Video Workshops demonstrate how to shoot a video and then edit it using Apple's iMovie software. In the Video Workshops, local TasteTV directors share their expertise in creating video for the web, cable, and other outlets.
The TasteTV workshops will take place at Apple Stores in Northern California (February & March), Southern California (March), Chicago, the East Coast, and beyond. To see the upcoming Workshop schedule, starting on February 1st in Palo Alto, California, please regularly check http://www.TasteTV.com or to the TasteTV blog, http://www.Tasteable.com.
TasteTV is the first and leading on demand & online food, wine and lifestyle network, with exciting programs ranging from chocolate, wine, restaurants and recipes to chefs, travel, fashion & design. Launched in 2004 as the Indie Food Channel, the network has been at the forefront of new media. TasteTV programs cover a diverse range of topics , produced by a global network of partners and Tastemakers. TasteTV also includes lineups that are city-oriented for regions like San Francisco, Chicago, Los Angeles, and more.
For online support, TasteTV partners with Brightcove, and for cable on demand, with Comcast.
